Sean Jackson
Sean is Manx international amputee footballer who represents England’s National Amputee Football team and plays his domestic football for Everton Amputees. Sean grew up on the island, and was born with a limb deficiency, leading to his leg being amputated from the age of 1. Sean played for local football teams on the island from the age of 4, and has represented the island’s COE junior sides.
Sean has represented England at the European Amputee Championships in 2021 and World Cup in 2022. At his previous club, Sean achieved a bronze medal at the European Champions League, representing Manchester City Amputees. Unfortunately, Sean had a challenging 2022/23 season, after suffering a full rupture to his ATFL ligament at the World Cup, leading to surgery, putting Sean on the side-lines for most of the season. Sean has a big 2024/25 season ahead with the European Championships, as well as the European Champions league with Everton Amputees.
