The IoM Sport Aid Committee are volunteer directors with significant interest and experience across sport on the Isle of Man.  Four of the directors are IoM Sport members appointed to the Charity each year during the IoM Sport AGM.  The additional 3 Independent Directors usually come from the Island business community and also often have a strong interest in sport.

The role of the management committee is to co-ordinate funding and fundraising opportunities to ensure sufficient funds are available to provide grants to individual sportspeople and to maintain and develop the facilities at the High-Performance Centre.  The committee are also responsible for the decisions regarding which individual's receive the Charities grant assistance.

The Sport Aid committee are supported in their work by the Sports Performance Co-Ordinator whose role is funded by IoM Sport.  Paul Jones currently fulfils this role for the committee within which he provides information, advice and support to the committee’s decision-making process.

The Committee is also supported by the Executive Assistant to the Head of Manx Sport, Recreation and Youth who acts as Secretary to the committee.  Lisa Motely currently fulfils this role within which she acts as first point of contact for the committee whilst ensuring the Charities administration around meetings and ongoing registration are in place.

The Committee meets monthly, during the first week of the month, at the High-Performance Centre.
